KATIE has had the pleasure of directing and producing a number of new works throughout NYC. Some theaters she's worked with include, THEATRE ROW (Times Square,) Secret Theatre (Queens,) and The Tank, amongst others. She's had the pleasure of working and learning under Directing professionals Michael Goldfried, Emily Clark, Roger Danforth, Kevin Hauge, Brooke Novak, Jen Wineman and she's excited to expand that list as she continues to grow. She has multiple works in development including a piece she's credited as director and co-creator, "Here's to all the broken girls," by Elizabeth Shannon which started as a workshop at Open Jar Studios NYC in summer of 2023, along with other projects that have yet to be announced!

 

Her directing style can be described as avant-garde, detailed, refreshing and her strengths are exemplified when she's able to tell a movement based story, incorporating music and sound from a queer-fem perspective.
